Ingredients

  • Pearl millet - 1 cup
  • Onions chopped
  • Turmeric
  • Chilli powder
  • Coriander
  • Cumin seeds
  • Ginger-green chilli paste
  • Baking soda
  • Salt and oil – as required

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients and mixwell and knead into a semi-soft dough
  2. Apply a little oil and shape into cylindrical and cut into slices
  3. Heat the remaining oil in a non- stick pan and add the mustard seeds
  4. Shallow fry the pieces in oil and season with cumin seeds
